***If opting for a patterns analysis in place of makeup (i.e. for any men, children, or person who isn’t interested in makeup colors), no pre-booking or add-on is necessary, just let us know during your appointment.
Please note, our system differs from the traditional Western Color Analysis categories as our focus is on the intensity and depth of color expression within each season, offering a more nuanced and personalized approach. Our palettes, developed by the renowned COCORY Color Inc., allow us to capture the subtle variations in your natural coloring — the primary focus is how light interacts with your skin. In going beyond cool/warm tones to also analyze the brightness, saturation, and intensity levels of colors, we can provide more precise and flattering results tailored to each person’s unique face color and image. For example, you may identify as cool-toned and require a pink-based, cool foundation to match your skin, but you may also find that “spring” clothing or “autumn” makeup—both warm—suit you best. While there are certainly some identifiable patterns among individuals in each season, skin coloring is complex, and what’s most flattering for one “summer soft” may not necessarily work for another.
